My philosophy is simple- I want my daughter Stella Lucille to know she can do whatever she wants in life. Confidence is a huge part of that. Be confident in what you wear. None of us should be defeated by who we are on the outside. Let me help you radiate who you are on the inside by assisting you in finding your style so you feel great inside and out.
Whatever shape or size, lifestyle or budget there are great, fashionable, clothes for you. Feeling good in what you wear can make you feel great in who you are.
I fell in love with finding fashion forward clothing for the curvy woman when I gained my freshman 15+ in Los Angeles and wanted to fit in. It has never been, nor is it currently about fashion, but rather about feeling empowered and fashionable in what I am wearing. After many failed, although successful, careers I realized my passion was in helping women discover how they can be empowered by dressing in what makes them feel good.
I eventually had a plus size clothing store where I loved helping women find their style. After my business partner and I decided to go our separate directions I went into the family business where I honed my business skills but missed helping women find something that makes them feel empowered.
I’ve been all sizes- from straight sizes to junior plus, plus, maternity plus and back again. If there is one thing I understand it is the woman’s ever changing body and the need to feel good about oneself in any of the many shapes. I believe everyone needs to dress in his or her own style, while meshing that with what fits, works within your budget, and is available in stores. I want to help you find what works for you and makes you want to go out and conquer the world.
Even though I’m the woman that wanted to wear jeans to my own wedding, I’ve always been the person that friends and family turn to for fashion advise, developing style, creating a shopping plan, educating them on fit, and helping them see beyond their own body perceptions. Put it this way I didn’t wear jeans to my wedding but when I found that elusive, perfect dress the first thing I said was it “feels” like I’m in my jeans. Finding the right fit is not always easy. Finding the right clothes is not always easy, and finding the right style is not always easy. But I can help you with all of that.

Plus Size Styling Personal Shopping/Online Shopping:
Brooklyn saw things that worked for me that I would never even think to try on. I work in a very professional environment, and am used to wearing grays, and blacks and occasionally a few blues. I prefer loose fitting clothing, and often times long sleeves. While shopping we had a great time, laughed a lot, and found some great black dresses, gray dresses, and a few blue accent pieces. Brooklyn also found a great red dress. I wasn’t sure about it. It was form fitting, with a shorter sleeve, but she insisted that I at least try it on. I would not need to buy it. She said that she wanted to show me something in it. I put it on. I worried about it because I didn’t think my body type should be in something form fitting, but I had to admit I looked good. She explained that the red brought out my eyes and hair, the more fitted look accented my curves in all the ways we hope they show, and I was going to wear a sweater over it for work anyway so I didn’t mind the sleeve. I bought it, but thought I would return it. I didn’t. I needed a great dress that would take me from day to night one day, and I had it in my closet. That day at work I got more compliments on it than I have ever gotten before. I also had people just telling me all day that I looked great. Brooklyn managed to stay within my style, but found me something fashionable, and great looking and we had so much fun shopping. Still whenever I wear the dress I get compliments.- E
Brooklyn recently did what I have come to define as closet intervention for me. She came to my home with the intent of assessing what I had or didn’t have in my closet and help me determine what may need to go. Even more importantly she helped me discover new ways to incorporate items I already had into a new look. I was slightly nervous at first but she quickly put me at ease. She took great interest in lifestyle, my likes, and dislikes. She made tons of suggestions of new pairing options I hadn’t ever considered and until on me, wouldn’t have given a second thought to. Quickly even after removing quite a few pieces from my collection I felt as if I had expanded my options considerably. I loved her energy, honesty and body shape knowledge and it was amazing how good I felt about myself when adjustments were made to my ordinary outfits. For years I have walked the tight rope of having to buy at plus size specialty stores and or having to scourer the racks/internet for the larger “regular” sizes, which often only led to frustrations and or buying anything that fitted at the time. With this new outlook and knowledge on how to dress my body, I feel that shopping will become easier, however it’s guaranteed that Brooklyn will be present for the next round of seasonal purchases! For the first time I’m looking forward to needing to shop! Thank you Brooklyn!-D
Women’s Specialty Styling:
I’m a doctor and have to dress in suits during the week, on the weekends I run and live in my running gear. Clothing isn’t really my thing, but with my profession and my hobbies, I’m not really that concerned. However for my wedding I had no idea where to even start. From dress to shoes to accessories I didn’t know where to look, how to find something that suited my shape, or my style. A friend of mine was friends with Brooklyn and we decided to invite her along for dress shopping. She set up appointments for us, and walked us through different dress styles. I hate shopping and when things got a bit discouraging she kept it happy and entertaining. We thought we had found a couple of options of dresses at one of our appointments, very different than the style I thought I would end up in. She insisted that we at least go to our last appointment even though I was getting a little tired. She said how often in life do you get to go wedding dress shopping. We went and found the perfect dress. It fit my style, it looked amazing, I was so comfortable in it, and it matched the tone of my wedding perfectly. I am so thankful that Brooklyn was there to push me to go to the last appointment and walk me through all the different fits, and what worked best on my shape with my style. -C
